ABOUT US The company was founded in 1990 by engineers and scientists from Magdeburg under the name of FEMCOS GmbH - Ingenieurbüro für wissenschaftlich-technische Berechnungen (Engineering company for scientific and engineering analysis). With the integration of the COSAR development group, FEMCOS now has nearly 40 years of experience in Finite Element Method (FEM) development and application in both industry and research. Now the company has 10 staff members. Beside consulting, code development, and scientific work, FEMCOS sees itself as a necessary link to the demanding market requirements for the delivery of scientific results and their profitable utilisation. To reflect this important aspect of the company’s activities, FEMCOS in 1995 has changed its name to Forschungsgesellschaft für Technische Mechanik FEMCOS - Ingenieurbüro mbH (Research Organisation for Engineering Mechanics FEMCOS - Engineering Company Ltd.).

The reliability and quality of our work is the basis for customer satisfaction and loyalty.
